Professional Roofing Services in Hazel Grove

Your roof protects your property from rain, wind and changing weather conditions. Damaged tiles, worn roof coverings and defective flashing can allow water to enter your home or business, potentially leading to damp, damaged ceilings and more extensive repairs.

Hazel Grove has a varied mix of residential properties, including traditional houses, family homes, extensions and modern developments. Different roof designs and materials require different approaches to repairs, maintenance and replacement.

We aim to provide clear recommendations, suitable roofing options and written quotations so you can make an informed decision about your property. New roofs include a 20-year material warranty, with insurance-backed guarantee options available through our contractor arrangements, subject to the applicable terms.

Roofing Solutions for Properties Across Hazel Grove

Moston Roofing provides roofing solutions for properties in Marple, from smaller repair jobs to complete roof replacements. If you have noticed missing tiles, a leaking ceiling, damaged flashing or water overflowing from your gutters, arranging an inspection can help identify the problem before it becomes more extensive.
Our team can assess common roofing defects and help you determine whether a repair, maintenance work or replacement is the most appropriate option. We also offer roof surveys for property owners who want to understand the visible condition of their roof and plan future maintenance.

Why It's Important to Keep Your Roof Well Maintained

Regular roof maintenance helps protect your property against water ingress and can reduce the likelihood of small roofing defects developing into more expensive problems. Over time, roofing materials are exposed to rain, wind, temperature changes and general wear. Loose tiles, deteriorating flashing and blocked gutters can affect the roof’s performance if they are not addressed.
Signs that your roof may need attention include missing tiles, damp patches, water stains on ceilings, damaged roofline components and overflowing gutters. If you notice these issues, arrange a professional roof inspection to help identify the cause and determine the most appropriate solution.

How Long Will My New Roof Last?

A roof’s lifespan depends on the materials used, installation quality, exposure to weather and ongoing maintenance. Choosing the right roofing system for your property in Bramhall can help provide long-term protection and reduce the need for frequent repairs.
Here is a general guide to the expected lifespan of common roofing materials:
Actual performance varies according to the product specification, installation, maintenance, and environmental conditions. These figures should not be treated as guaranteed lifespans.

Roof Replacement Costs in Hazel Grove

The cost of a new roof depends on the roof’s dimensions, chosen materials, access, scaffolding and the condition of the existing structure. The following figures are general UK budgeting estimates rather than confirmed Moston Roofing prices.
These figures are indicative and can vary depending on the size of the roof, labour, scaffolding, insulation, structural repairs and waste removal. Garage roof prices also depend on the size of the structure and the existing roofing system.
For a reliable estimate, Moston Roofing can inspect your property and provide a written quotation based on the work required.

How Much Does a New Roof Cost in Hazel Grove?

A new roof can be a worthwhile investment when the existing roof has widespread deterioration, recurring leaks or damaged materials that are no longer economical to repair. Roof repair costs vary according to the problem, the extent of the damage and how easily the affected area can be reached. A slipped tile or loose gutter joint may need only a small repair. A persistent leak involving damaged flashing, roof valleys or underlying timber may require more extensive investigation and work.
Ignoring a small defect can allow rainwater to enter the roof structure and cause further damage. If you notice damp patches, loose roof coverings or water entering your property, arrange an inspection as soon as possible.

A top roofer. We had various roofers failing to repair our gulleys and had a persistent leak. James found the cause of our leak and repaired that. He repaired the gulleys with flexible sides to handle the temperature changes. He guaranteed his work. Very responsive. Friendly team. Highly recommended.

We needed our roof replacing due to leaks and damaged tiles. We knew it was going to be a lot of work and after having a string of dodgy roofers do work at our house we were nervous but we shouldn't have been. Moston Roofing were brilliant, the work quality was superb, they communicated ever step of the way and they were very friendly which made the disruption of a roof replacement a lot easier to deal with. I would highly recommend Moston Roofing!

If only all tradespeople held themselves to James' does! He's been twice now and done good work at reasonable prices. He also didn't attempt to increase the size of the job by telling me I needed more done than I actually did.

We reached out to James at Moston Roofing following some leaks on our valleys due to a poor quality new roof by the previous owners. From previous experience with roofing work, I wanted a proper job, so looked for companies registered with the confederation of roofing contractors, and came across Moston Roofing. James popped round and explained a few approaches, trying to minimise costs for us while doing a proper job in unpredictable autumn weather. We had a couple of other quotes and Moston came out competitively priced, and James clearly knew his stuff. I read the reviews on Which, Checkatrade etc and my only concern was that all the 5* ratings seemed too good to be true! However... Moston absolutely delivered on the job, managing to fit us in 2 weeks earlier due to a cancellation and our pressing needs to fix the leaks. They worked in a tidy manner and replaced the lead valleys promptly, and gave us a few options along the way. They also replaced our front guttering and downpipes, which was a bit complex due to the shape and roof height. James has popped back a couple of times to double check the mortar had set and gutters are draining, to ensure that they have done a job to last. He is a great communicator and very honest and easy to work with. I would use again without question... but would rather not have a 3rd roof to fix!

The team was polite professional, efficient, and clearly skilled, completing the job on time and with minimal disruption. They took care to clean up thoroughly afterward, and the quality of the repointing is excellent, and I feel confident in the quality of the work. I’d highly recommend Moston Roofing Ltd for anyone in need of reliable roofing services!
